Services We Don’t Offer

Below is a list of services we do not offer at our sexual health clinics, and where to go for these services.

 

Cervical screening

Where to go for this service: Available at GP Practices.

 

Contraception for non-contraceptive reasons 

(e.g. contraceptive pill or coil/IUS for the purposes of controlling bleeding or solely for HRT)

Where to go for this service: This requires a referral to gynaecology via your GP.

 

Fertility testing

Where to go for this service: GPs can refer you to for testing if appropriate, or there are private providers which offer this.

 

Gender services

Where to go for this service: Find a list of gender clinics on the NHS website.

 

Genital/general dermatology, including skin tags and (non-genital) scabies

Where to go for this service: Visit your GP in first instance, who can refer you to dermatology/other services if required.

 

Menopause services and/or HRT

Where to go for this service: Available from your GP.

 

Printouts of STI testing results

Where to go for this service: You can access results online via your PHR account, but we cannot provide printed results (including for STI testing prior to any fertility treatments). There are private providers which offer this service.

 

Sterilisation and vasectomy services

Where to go for this service: You can be referred for this via your GP.

 

Termination (abortion) services

Where to go for this service: There are links to local services on our website under “Other Support Services“.

 

Travel or occupational vaccinations

Where to go for this service: These may be able to be provided by your GP, paid for privately from some pharmacies, or via your workplace.
